The leading Pan African music company ROCKSTAR4000 is proud to announce the signing of Kenyan dancehall superstar Redsan to a worldwide multi-level deal inclusive of taking his master recordings to a global audience of millions across the Sony Music Entertainment global partner stores and as part of the same catalog that includes some of the most important recordings in history such as Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Usher, P!NK, R Kelly, Ciara, Miguel, Sean Kingston, Shakira, Pitbull, Jamie Foxx, Justin Timberlake, Ke$ha, and African stars such as Nneka, D’banj, Xtatic, Toya Delazy, Keko and many others.

The deal is inclusive of a landmark worldwide exclusive publishing deal with ROCKSTAR PUBLISHING, the first Pan African major Publishing Company. The signing landmarks a historic moment, which sees leading African dancehall superstar Redsan join Africa’s number one music and entertainment partnership company ROCKSTAR4000 and SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT.

Swabri Mohamed or better known by his stage name, Redsan, is a Dancehall musician from Kenya. He is also known as Africa's king of dancehall reggae. According to Jamaican dancehall star Demarco, Redsan’s recent release ‘Badder than Most’ featuring Demarco is currently ‘the best dancehall single in the world right now’ and Redsan is widely reviewed as the most energetic sound in the dancehall market of this generation today.
Redsan entered the music scene after winning the Star Search competition at Nairobi’s Carnivore in 1998. His career has never stopped momentum since and soon after Redsan released his first album ‘Seasons of the San’ in 2002. ‘Seasons of the San’ was a phenomenal success and charted 9 major hits, including the mega-hits ‘Julie’ and ‘Wanipa Raha’.
In 2004 he recorded his second album titled ‘Red’ which included several major hits including ‘Chicken’, ‘Nakutaka’, and ‘Apakatwe’. His third album, ‘Pioneer’ was released in 2006, with hit singles ‘Kenyan’ and ‘Touch’. Redsan is a multiple nominated and award-winning superstar with accolades across Africa.
Redsan's career has exploded to great heights with more local and international shows than any other Kenyan artist to date. He has shared the stage with superstars such as Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Brick and Lace, Demarco, Konshens, Kelly Rowland and Akon, just to mention a few. His latest album ‘Versatility’ is out to prove to his fans and critics alike, that Redsan is still the number one African dancehall artist on the continent. His ‘Versatility’ album launch was curtain raised by the all-star Jamaican sensational duo ‘Brick and Lace’ in 2009. The album features multiple hits such as ‘Yule Pale’, ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Ila Wewe’.
